He also had a 1 year study internship in George Washington Univ. (Washington, DC) and an internship in the International Centre for Studies in Creativity at Buffalo State College (Buffalo, NY). Both internships were in the field of creativity and innovation management. Mr. Dubina was certified on “Innovation and Creativity: How to Improve Performance and Foster Growth” by the American Management Association.
Professional Experience Igor has more than 15 years of experience in research and teaching creativity and innovation management, organizational culture and climate assessment, techniques of creative problem solving, and decision-making strategies. He published more than 70 papers in these fields, including 2 monographs and 5 textbooks in Russian, as well as more than 10 papers in English in international journals and monographs. He is a frequent speaker at many international conferences on creativity and innovation held in China, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Russia, Singapore, Ukraine and the USA.
Since 1999, Mr. Dubina has been working as an Associate Professor and Associate Dean in the School of Business and Management at Altai State University (Russia). He teaches courses on:
• Creative Problem Solving in Business (including TRIZ),
• Creativity and Innovation Management,
• Statistical Methods and Software (SPSS, STATISTICA, WINSTEPS),
• Socio-Economic Measurement,
• Analytical Models in Economics and Management,
• Game Theory and Its Economic and Management Applications.
Igor is a laureate of the 2006, 2007 and 2008 National Textbook Contest and a prize-winner of 2006 and 2007 Altai State University Professor Contest. He got more than 20 grants for research and training programs from many American, European and Russian Organisations, including the US Department of State, World Bank, Soros Foundation, Ford Foundation, Central European University, Russian Fund for Humanities, Russian National Training Foundation. On demand of the Government of Altai Region, he developed a method for the measurement of organizational climate for creativity and innovation. By the moment, this method was applied in 9 Russian government and private companies. Recently, this method is also being tested in companies of Singapore and China.
